**ESSENTIAL SERVICE TO CONTINUE**
Gassed Automotive is classed as an essential service under the NSW State Government stage 3 measures.
What’s that mean?
We have been in constant contact with Central Coast Council and the NSW Government about impacts to our customers and ourselves- we want you to be safe and confident in your actions.
For the purposes of vehicle maintenance (servicing) and repairs, you are able to leave your place of residence.
We would recommend pre-booking your journey with us to ensure if we are contacted to confirm (so you avoid the fines!) we can provide any information needed.
Historic or conditional registered vehicles under the 60 day log book scheme remain a grey area of the current changes due to their nature as a “hobby vehicle”. We expect some clarification of their travel to our workshop in the coming days.
We are still undertaking safe hygiene practice including-
Non-contact handover (no handshakes- this is definitely difficult!)
Full disinfectant wipes of door handles, steering wheels, gear selectors, door trims and any functional controls that we need to engage (i.e. stereo or dash controls)
Enforcing a no-entry to workshop policy and limited access to reception (including closure of waiting area)
Under limited circumstances we are happy to provide return transport to your residence, however we would like to discuss alternate options such as pickup from your home where possible. Please call ahead to chat.
These are some very strange times and we ask that you continue to support our small family business during the coming weeks and months.
We are still offering restoration services and have a range of options available to help you finish off your project while in lock-down- again, give us a call.
Stay safe everyone- The Tyler (Gassed) family.
