Once a year (after the vehicle is 5 years old) you will need to have your car inspected by an approved registration inspection station. Formerly known as a pink slip, now called an E-Safety inspection – These rego checks are important to ensure all vehicles on the road comply with a strict set of inspection requirements. 

There are a range of items that are inspected with every rego check we carry out.

• Tyre condition and remaining tread depth
• All standard vehicle functions (wipers, washers, horn)
• Wipers and washer jet function
• Wheel bearing condition
• Noise and emissions requrements
• On-road brake test for braking performance

As well as a whole host of other items, dictated by the Roads and Maritime Service for every Registration inspection station. 

The cost of a registration or e-safety check here in NSW is currently $43 (2022 fee) and is regulated among all authorised inspection stations for registration. We can’t charge any more than that – Guaranteed!
